Christ Marthoma Church, Mulakulam

 Since M.E 1111 (1936 AD), Mr. Varki thomman Medamana, Mathai Joseph Koheriyil etc came here for bible reading and fellowship. They went to Kizhillam Mission Field and discussed with the office bearers and presented their wish in front of Mathews Mar Athansios Episcopa in Perumbavoor. As a result evengelists came here. E.M. Mathews and K.E. Thomas were the first evengelists who came here.

Abraham Marthoma Metropolitian was very intrested in Mulakulam Mission. Even he visited here many times. In M.E 1114 (1939 AD) he laid the foundation stone and in M.E 1117 (1942 AD) Mathews Mar Athanasios Episcopa Consecrated the church. The plot was given by Mr. Joseph Kocheriyil free of cost. The tiles for the roof was sponcered by Medamana Varki Thomman. The furniture and other materials for construction were sponcered by Mr. Mathai Varghese Karamel Pannikottil. The sincere and hardwork of Evengilist Mr. K.E. Thomas helped for the development of the church. After him the restless job of Evengilist Mr. C.T.Ckacko helped for the futher development of the parish. We remember and thank these people who were the founders and developers of this church.

After that the church was renovated in 2006 under the leadreship of Rev. Sam Mathew.
